‘Hot season’ in Olster

Elizabeth O’Nile from Portdown has become the 7- th victim of terror of Protestant loyalists since the peaceful agreement of Good Friday about the Northern Ireland, signed last spring. The crisis of Dramkry has brought 10 lives, including kids.

Every July in Olster is ‘hot season’. It’s the time of annual military marches of Protestants, the most sadly- famous of which is on July, 12 in Portdown, named Damkry march.

The meaning of this march is to humble the members of the community in opposite, declaring ‘who the host is’.

This year the authorities has tried to solve the crisis before by organizing of talks in Portdown between the members of the both of communities. These talks are run by Frank Blare. There aren’t any results still. ‘The oranges’ refuse talking with Catholics, explaining it by their ‘top level’. The party charges ‘the oranges’ with sectarianism.

Meanwhile the peaceful agreement ,signed last year, doesn’t work.

‘Olster’s unionists say that we must ‘jump in’ together, it’s impossibly’- President of the party, Shin Fein sounded- ‘Progress is handed by the government .Tony Blare is the key person here.’
