Now the men of Ingushetia can have up to 4 wives. President of Ingushetia Ruslan Aushev has signed the decree permitting polygamy. The President is going to move to the State Duma some additions to the Russian law on the Family Code for approval. As is explained in the decree of the president this decision had been accepted in connection with the demographic situation in the Republic, for the sake of protection of the rights and legal interests of the citizens.
